Abstract

It gives an overview of the airline industry at the national level through GDP, Foreign Direct Investment and exports within the aerospace field, and the impact that this sector has had in some states. The airline industry in Mexico has been strengthened in recent years by the interest of large companies in investing in Mexico in the development of large long-term projects to manufacture aeronautical parts of high value added and specialized technology for the existing demand of the export market. A forecast is made by Holt Winters' exponential softening of GDP for the sector.
