LA INCONSISTENCIA DIMENSIONAL DEL MODELO SOLOW-SWAN DE CRECIMIENTO ECONÓMICO
Abstract
The present research article has as fundamental purpose the corroboration of the following hypothesis: from the perspective of dimensional analysis, the Solow-Swan model of economic growth holds an important analytic flaw, its dimensional inconsistency. To fulfill this objective, instruments of dimensional analysis are used to evaluate the model. Furthermore, an improvement of the model is proposed so that it complies with the dimensional homogeneity principle, and where the implications of these alterations are also discussed.
