Code of ethics

The Editorial Committee of Denarius journal exhorts the authors of the works to be original, unpublished and research content, and must also point out that they respect the intellectual property rights of third parties.

Plagiarism

Denarius combat plagiarism and any type of fraudulent practice, so any work can be tasted with anti-plagiarism software, and in case of violating this principle could applies a correspondent sanction, and which involves the immediate withdrawal of the document and notification to involved.  

Confidentiality

The journal is committed at all times during the review process, to maintain the anonymity of authors and reviewers. This implies that the editors, the members of the Editorial Committee and the reviewers must not quote or distribute copies of the submitted document. The person who violates this ethical principle will be separated from the journal. During the review process, the editorial processes of the journal will seek the objectivity of the opinions.

Conflict of Interest.

In order to avoid conflicts of interest, it will be prevented the reviewers from: having the same institutional affiliation as the authors, review works of a co-author in previous publications; participate in the same research project associated with the document.

The members of the Editorial Committee and the Scientific Committee may publish either as author or co-author, as long as they satisfy with the editorial guidelines and editorial policy of the journal.

Review Process

Denarius will inform the authors in the following phases of the process:

  • Rejection in pre-review
  • Resolution of the reviews of their work.
  • Approval of galleries by the author.
  • The status of published in the press and in the online journal.

The criteria for the publication of a work sent to Denarius are the following:

  • Affinity of the text with the journal’s editorial content.
  • Compliance with editorial criteria for sending originals.
  • Positive evaluation of the text by at least two reviewers.
  • The modifications of the text taking into account the observations and changes considered as indispensable in the reviews.
  • The publication decisioncannot be based on reasons of nationality, ethnicity, political position, sexual preference or religion of the authors.
  • The journalguarantees equal treatment for all authors, in editorial and review processes.

 

Costs and supports

Access to the Denarius journal, aligned to a concept of Open Access, through this website, requires no subscription, registration or payment.

Authors, who submit a document for a possible publication, will not have to make any payment.

The magazine does not economically reward the authors for their contributions in it.

Archiving

This journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed storage system among participating libraries and allows the creation of permanent archives in the journal for conservation and restoration purposes.
